Sofia Greenberg made her firs paper mache dragon trophy for a school project. I love how this turned out with the great eyes and mouth! Excellent colors and textures!

Here is Jennifer Stensland’s “Ice Dragon”! What a beautiful piece! Love the textures and colors! Amazing!

Andy and his kids, Bella and Nate decided to make a dragon together. It became a family project. And what a fantastic dragon it turned out to be! Andy got to carry this cool dragon on the “tube” in London on the way to Nate’s “show and tell”. Lots of looks! Lots of fun!

And here they are, Andy on the left, Bella in the middle, and Nate on the right. I love this photo! I’ve been told that there is interest in making the body someday! That would be quite the challenge!

Inez decided to make her grandson, Hamish, a dragon to ride in a carnival. She ended up with two fantastic pieces!

And here is Hamish riding one! Lucky kid to have such a grandmother! Btw, he called the dragon “Wrapper” (she thinks he means “raptor'” How cute is that!)

This is Presha’s first paper mache dragon! His name is “Noz.” Amazing!

Erica and Nadia Bonhomme live in the far North, in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. That is where they race Soapbox cars. Nadia wanted a dragon themed car, and Erica (Nadia’s mother) and Nadia decided to make one! And what a wonderful car they made! This is going to be such a hit!

Jaedyn Grant had an assignment for her Language Arts class having to do with Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness”. She and her mother, Christy, decided to make an elephant holding a heart dripping blood as a metaphor for the themes in the book. And what a great job they did! It took many long hours of them both working together to accomplish this piece. Fantastic job!

This is Hetty Liet’s first paper mache dragon. Spectacular!

Jeff Bullard works with a marching band (Mid-Carolina High School Marching Band, Prosperity, SC.) whose mascot is “Harvey” the dragon. They decided to build the mascot, complete with smoke coming out of the mouth! Very cool!

Arthur Wallis’ made this dragon for his father. It is called “The Red Terror,” understandably! Great job!

Honna O’Connell wanted to make something great for her son. And she did! Her is her son with “Knarly.” What a lucky kid!

Markee has been doing art for many years but has only just begun using paper mache. And look what popped out! A very cute monster (with great taste in literature)!

And here is Markee’s second little monster. This one is titled, “Monster Holiday!” Wonderful!

Speaking of great monsters… check out this fantastic beast made by Noninox Cenicerox! Fantastic!

Peter (dad) and Kelsey (daughter) worked together to create a wonderful dragon. They named it “Irma” because they were finishing as the hurricane blew through! Below is Irma, Kelsey and their cat, Loverboy. All three…adorable!

Mary Z made some great gargoyles for a Harry Potter dinner party (at Christmas time). The one below is “Sid”…

…and this is Ethyl. Such fun!

Below is a dragon trophy made by Olivier alias Elyrius Jablonski from France. Wonderful job!

Kseniya lives in Yekaterinburg, Russia. She has been making some great dragons! Here is a couple of them. First the blue dragon.

Then a green, hanging dragon (along with a close up). And finally a photo of Kseniya with her dragon.

Christopher Solchen worked with kids from School District 197 in Minnesota this summer. They made a dragon while in the day camp. This was the only photo he was able to capture before the camp ended. It is certainly a worthy project! So here is “Storm the Dragon!” Congrats to Christopher and all the kids!

I want to start with my friend and fellow artist, Matt, aka “Nubbie.” He’s been making some great art. I love the size and attitude of his projects. Let’s start with his dragons. Here is Matt with his giant dragon trophy! Matt is the one on the left. 🙂

Here are some amazing paper mache projects made by Carla Shipley’s classes at Hoffmann Lane Elementary School in New Braunfels, Texas. This is “Artemis”.

This is Suzy with her first paper mache project/costume, “Billy.” Excellent!

Okay, so Anita had cancer. Her two friends Makayla and Madison made some cancer fighting paper mache monsters. Perfect!

I love this paper mache rabbit made by Jo Schaefer. Magnificent!

Finally, this is Charlene’s paper mache “Luis Gluton” (a.k.a. Luis the Glutto). Excellent.

You have to see the tongue close up. Look at the texture on the tongue. And cool drool too!

This is Mike Murphy’s paper mache “Audrey”. Great!

Mike also made this Marlin. He based it upon the one in the house on the Adam’s Family TV show. Fantastic!

Rachel Sarsfield is a terrific artist! She has been sending me photos for a long time. I love each project! Below you will see quite a few. The first is her most recent masterpiece, obviously based upon the Predator concept. She called this one, “Fred the Head.” Excellent!

Here is one of my favorites of Rachel’s. It’s also one of her oldest. It’s called the “Three Wise Gollums!”

Rachel has been at it again. This time she chose to create Arnold Schwarzenegger! She noted how much clay it took just for the muscles on the arm. And love the shiny surface,! “Arnie” never looked so good! So fun!

Here is Siebe Vu’s first paper mache dragon trophy. Very nice job!

Here is a project made by the art class run by Bryan Medina Mr Hill. It won an award at an exhibition. Congratulations!

This is Que Bigg’s paper mache dragon. Wonderful. Look at those scales!

Now this is something amazing. Paolo Orlando’s made a paper mache Empire State Building. That is astounding enough. But then he made two paper mache dragons climbing it! If you look closely you can see Spider Man attempting to capture one of them. Really cool!
