Here are some wonderful projects that Veronique Smeulders made to hang where she works, in a home for the elderly in Belgium. She thought the decorations would brighten their day. Sounds like they did that and more! It helped bring the artist out in Veronique! The projects are magnificent.

The photos on these pages are almost exclusively made of paper mache. But Karen Kingsley’s dragon deserves recognition even though it is made of Pal Tia, a paper and cement product that can be be used for outdoor sculptures. Look at this fantastic dragon she made after adding tile work to the Pal Tia structure! Karen teamed up with another paper mache friend of mine, Diane Sorensen, in a dragon-making challenge for charity. Very cool idea! You can see both dragons in process here.
