I want to start with my friend and fellow artist, Matt, aka “Nubbie.” He’s been making some great art. I love the size and attitude of his projects. Let’s start with his dragons. Here is Matt with his giant dragon trophy! Matt is the one on the left. 🙂

This is Mike Murphy’s paper mache “Audrey”. Great!

Mike also made this Marlin. He based it upon the one in the house on the Adam’s Family TV show. Fantastic!

Rachel Sarsfield is a terrific artist! She has been sending me photos for a long time. I love each project! Below you will see quite a few. The first is her most recent masterpiece, obviously based upon the Predator concept. She called this one, “Fred the Head.” Excellent!

Here is one of my favorites of Rachel’s. It’s also one of her oldest. It’s called the “Three Wise Gollums!”

Rachel has been at it again. This time she chose to create Arnold Schwarzenegger! She noted how much clay it took just for the muscles on the arm. And love the shiny surface,! “Arnie” never looked so good! So fun!

Here is Siebe Vu’s first paper mache dragon trophy. Very nice job!

Here is a project made by the art class run by Bryan Medina Mr Hill. It won an award at an exhibition. Congratulations!

This is Que Bigg’s paper mache dragon. Wonderful. Look at those scales!

Now this is something amazing. Paolo Orlando’s made a paper mache Empire State Building. That is astounding enough. But then he made two paper mache dragons climbing it! If you look closely you can see Spider Man attempting to capture one of them. Really cool!

This is Heath Lambert’s paper mache dragon trophy. If you look closely you will see metal parts because it is a Terminator dragon. Very cool!

This is Kelly Mazzeo’s paper mache “Toothless”. Perfect rendition!

Look at Inga Aleknaviciute’s giant, paper mache white bear. This is one of two. They are in Watermill Center, NY. Wonderful!

I have to start with Jack. I love this photo. After watching my Paper Mache Sea Dragon video he decided to make his own mother dragon with baby. I think he did a magnificent job!

Below is Ailyn Nannig’s paper mache dragon. Look at the size of this! What a great piece!

It deserves a close-up. So cool!

My friend Janet is an Advanced Calculus teacher by day. By night she makes monsters! Both are important life skills!

She just finished her first dragon trophy. Excellent!

She got a hold of my “Make Something Ugly” book. It described a project with heads in a jar. Janet decided to make some.

Janet has been at it again. This time a three headed dragon. Photos just don’t do this justice. She designed circuitry for this so that the eyes light up in all three heads, and they also cycle through different colors! Just amazing.

Here is a float made by Rolf. He lives in the Netherlands. Check out the grasshopper and the caterpillar! They are made with expanded polystyrene.

Michael Mccaffrey’s made his first paper mache dragon trophy. Here it is with daughter Raven. Beautiful on both counts!

Dulcie Horwitz never does anything small. Below are a couple of examples. First, she belongs to a tae kwan do club and they wanted a dragon to be their mascot. So she assembled a group of volunteers and using my paper mache techniques they made it. What a beautiful dragon! Fantastic work!

Dulcie also made a paper mache dragon to accompany a story line her son was involved in at school. Here are her kids working on the dragon (great book he is using as a guide!).

Even better, here is “Master Gordon and Company” with paper mache dragon. Where? In the castle of course! Such fun!

I have knows Carlos for a long time. He is a great paper mache artist. He is a great artist, period. Here are some of his pieces. First, check out his Predator! Here is the face.

Back to paper mache. Nicole has some pretty great paper mache creations! First, it’s always nice to have part of a beast coming through your wall!

Nicole also made some cool paper mache license plate covers! Look at the mouth! So great!

And look at Nicole’s version of a paper mache piggy. I love this!

And one good piggy deserves another. This time a paper mache “Zombie Piggy”. Wonderful wonderful!

My friend Aaron Stewart has his own style of paper mache. He makes some very unique dragons. I think they are magnificent!

Another paper mache artist friend friend of mine, Kelvin, does some great work. First is one of my favorites. The term “Paper Mache” in the US often conjures up images of paper mache piggies made by school children. I’ve often made fun of that characterization of the medium. But I totally approve of this version. Not the smoking…but the attitude! So funny!

Kelvin also does some fantastic fish! Here are two.

And Kelvin’s wonderful paper mache dog! This is quite large.

And look at Kelvin’s Predator. Amazing rendition!

Then there is this funny little guy that Kelvin made. Not sure what it’s called.

My friend Tyson Horn teaches sculpture in his art classes. His 8th grade student, Makenna, made this fantastic paper mache dog. I love it!

My friend Miguel Ruiz Fuentes has been making paper mache for a while now. Have you ever had heartburn? Just wondering. I love this.
